HOW DOES LIVE WEDDING ART WORK?

Hours prior to the ceremony Taylor and Tony locate the chosen vantage point and Taylor begins the composition. As guests arrive, the scene within the painting is already well underway in a Plein-Air style. While the ceremony takes place, Taylor sketches in the bride and groom, wedding party and guests, laying out their positioning and structure while Tony takes photos for reference. During the transition to cocktail hour and the reception, Taylor relocates to continue the painting's development throughout the evening. From here on out the main focus is the portraits of the wedding couple and party. At the end of the evening, the piece returns to the Live Wedding Art studio where finishing touches and studio-built framing bring it to gallery quality.

WHAT DOES THE ARTIST REQUIRE FOR THE EVENT?

During the pre-wedding correspondence, Tony, the couple and the wedding coordinator will establish logistics such as the painting viewpoint, specific details, venue layout, and timeline. Other than that, all that is required is a 4 x 6 foot space to paint. You can leave the rest up to Taylor.

HOW LONG UNTIL THE ARTWORK IS RECIEVED?

All artwork is completed in-studio, paper backed, wire strung and shipped with the optional framing and accompanying Giclee prints within six weeks of the event date.

WHAT ARE MY CANVAS SIZE OPTIONS?

Live Wedding Art offers three canvas sizes with three frame size options with a variety of styles and finishes. Our Day-Of and Classic paintings are sized at 24 x 30 inches, Deluxe paintings are sized at 27 x 36 inches, Premier paintings are sized at 30 x 40 inches. All painting packages are finished with your choice of wood frame moulding.

ARE MY GUESTS ALLOWED TO INTERACT WITH THE ARTIST?

Guests are encouraged to interact. Live Wedding Art brings out the artist in everyone, sparking creativity, conversation, and excitement. Throughout the wedding celebration Tony is on hand to answer any and all questions about the details and our process, and Taylor is happy to interact as well. With years of experience creating live art, Taylor welcomes questions and comments throughout his creation process.

HOW CAN I GIVE LIVE WEDDING ART AS A GIFT?

Live Wedding Art is a perfect gift. It’s a great way for parents, family or friends to join together and get the wedding couple the most original and unique gift possible. The bride and groom don’t even have to know about it. Arrangements can be set up through the event coordinator/venue coordinator and the painting will be a complete surprise.

IS LIVE WEDDING ART MESSY?

Live Wedding Art isn’t messy at all. For these live wedding paintings Taylor works in a neat and controlled manner. The easel is set atop a drop mat placed with care for the surrounding area. There are no drips, spray or spatter. The creative space is left as spotless and pristine as it’s found.

WE'RE ALREADY MARRIED, CAN WE STILL GET A WEDDING PAINTING?

A wedding painting can be created whether the ceremony was last week or 50 years ago. All that is needed for a Post-Event Painting is a photo. Couples can get this for themselves to celebrate years of marriage. This is also a favorite option for many to give as an anniversary gift. Contact Us for size and pricing information.
