HOW DOES LIVE WEDDING ART WORK?
Hours prior to the ceremony Taylor and Tony locate the chosen vantage point and Taylor begins the composition. As guests arrive, the scene within the painting is already well underway in a Plein-Air style. While the ceremony takes place, Taylor sketches in the bride and groom, wedding party and guests, laying out their positioning and structure while Tony takes photos for reference. During the transition to cocktail hour and the reception, Taylor relocates to continue the painting's development throughout the evening. From here on out the main focus is the portraits of the wedding couple and party. At the end of the evening, the piece returns to the Live Wedding Art studio where finishing touches and studio-built framing bring it to gallery quality.
WHAT DOES THE ARTIST REQUIRE FOR THE EVENT?
During the pre-wedding correspondence, Tony, the couple and the wedding coordinator will establish logistics such as the painting viewpoint, specific details, venue layout, and timeline. Other than that, all that is required is a 4 x 6 foot space to paint. You can leave the rest up to Taylor.
HOW LONG UNTIL THE ARTWORK IS RECIEVED?
All artwork is completed in-studio, paper backed, wire strung and shipped with the optional framing and accompanying Giclee prints within six weeks of the event date.
